Co-Active Community UK-Europe Privacy Notice

As from 25th May 2018, under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) we are required by law to inform you about how we process and keep safe the data we hold about you. 

We are also required to gain your explicit consent to our holding and processing your data in certain ways (they are detailed below). 

We take confidentiality and privacy very seriously, and we are bound by the code of ethics of the International Coach Federation (ICF).

If you are signing up to receive the Co-Active UK-Europe newsletter and or information about Co-Active UK-Community Days or events and meet ups, this document outlines how we hold your data, for what purpose and for how long.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. 

What data do we hold about you?

We keep certain data so that we can work safely and professionally with you.

The data we hold may include:

Your name and email address

Invoices and payment information

Our emails to you, and yours to us

You have the right to know what data we hold, why we hold it, and for how long we hold it.

You also have the right to view it, and to ask for changes to be made.

Data is held electronically.

If we discover there has been a data breach of your personal information that could put you at risk, we will undertake to tell you as soon as possible.

How we keep this data

We keep your contact details on our e-mail management system and our ticketing system. 

Why we keep this data

We keep this data so that we can be in contact with you and communicate the newsletter and notifications about up and coming events and meet ups that may be of interest.

How long we keep this data

Data on our ticketing system will be deleted one month after the relevant event.

Every communication using our e-mail management system will include the option to unsubscribe. We will delete emails either when you advise us that you would like the data removed and or when we undertake an audit of the data to ensure that those who wish to be on our database continue to be on the database. (we audit the data every 2 years)

How we keep this data

We may delete emails after we have noted the contents. Any e-mails that we consider necessary to keep are retained in our e-mail accounts.

Why we keep this data

We may keep e-mails if we consider it necessary for future communication.  

Who sees the data apart from us

Nobody else sees this data. Your data is not shared with a third party.
